Sunset Dreaming has a powerful mission and a strong message. In simple terms our main objective is to close the 17 year life expectancy gap that exists between black and white Australians.

To do this we need to empower Indigenous Australians and develop enterprises that work within this truly unique culture. We work closely with the artist to adapt their distinctive work for use in high quality gift cards, prints and some souvenirs.

Maintaining the artist’s integrity is extremely important to us and it is why you can rest assured that any Sunset Dreaming product has been developed in close association with the artist themselves.

It is hard to believe that in this modern era there is still a seventeen year life expectancy difference between black and white Australians, but there most certainly is. To create jobs and encourage enterprise, which in turn raises the overall standard of living, ten percent of all sales is given back to the Indigenous community in Central Australia.

You can make a difference and contribute to our cause by purchasing any of the products sold on this site. 10% from the sale of Sunset Dreaming goods is held in trust by Red Dust Role Models, a Not for Profit health promotion charity working in remote indigenous communities and used to further foster education and training, employment and healthy living opportunities for indigenous Aussies in Central Australia.
